Initial Inquiry

The request was for an analysis of crash severity for the most recent five year period summarized for intersection related vs non-intersection related crashes for 1) all Kentucky crashes; 2) crashes involving young drivers (age 16-20); and 3) crashes involving mature drivers (age 65 and over).

Project Write-up & Data Provided

A custom SQL query was written to retrieve data from the on-premises SQL database and to produce summary counts of the applicable crash types. The results were exported to a spreadsheet and delivered to the requestor.
